 Grab The Setlist had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with Idles lead singer Joe Talbot whilst they were supporting The Maccabees during their sold out farewell tour at Alexandra Palace. Idles delivered their explosive live performance to Alexandra Palace over three shows, starting off each evening with a fierce scream of havoc to get the night going.     Along with describing the inspiration that the Maccabees provided for him as a teenager, Joe talks about the value of politics within their music, the way they capture that merciless raw live sound on the debut album Brutalism, and the important purpose of reading on both his music and life.
